CodeBot Server

CodeBot Server is the server backend that provides AI runtime functionality for CodeBot for Delphi, CodeBot CLI ands also optionally CodeBot in GitBrowser.

Use of CodeBot Server is a paid service, and usage counts against CodeBot AI Credits that are included as part of your monthly CodeBot for Delphi subscription, or can be purchased separately. See Credits for details.

Applications

CodeBot Server is not, currently, a public API. It supports providing AI services for three applications:

• CodeBot for Delphi
• CodeBot CLI
• GitBrowser

CodeBot Server is not used by CodeBot for Elements (in Fire, Water or Earth), or by Campfire. These applications come with codebot fully embedded locally, and connect to the AI provider (or several)( of your choice, via API keys you provide.

Internals

Internally, CodeBot Server is built on the same custom Agenting AI Runtime as CodeBot embedded in Fire/Water/Earth and Campfire. It is currently backed exclusively by OpenAI and its gpt-* models.
