RemObjects CodeBot is an umbrella technology used for providing AI assistant functionality in several RemObjects products. CodeBot shares many traits across all products it comes in, but has product-specific differences in each.
CodeBot for Delphi and CodeBot CLI work on AI credits that come as part of your CodeBot for Delphi subscription, and connect to CodeBot Server.
CodeBot for Elements in Fire/Water/Earth and Campfire are "bring your own provider", and require you to connect op an AI provider account (or, for advanced users, run a local model).
CodeBot in GitBrowser can work with either your own API key, local model, or use CodeBot for Delphi credits against CodeBot Server.
CodeBot for Delphi
CodeBot for Delphi brings CodeBot into Delphi-oriented projects and workflows. These docs cover how CodeBot can help inspect a Delphi codebase, answer project-specific questions, review code, and assist with tasks inside Embarcadero RAD Studio.
CodeBot for Elements
CodeBot for Elements documents the CodeBot experience in Fire, Water, and Earth for RemObjects Elements projects. It covers the IDE chat experience, solution-aware prompts, local model setup, accounts, tools, and the features that are specific to Elements development.
CodeBot in GitBrowser
CodeBot in GitBrowser documents how CodeBot helps with repository browsing and source-control workflows in RemObjects GitBrowser. It focuses on understanding changes, reviewing diffs, and using CodeBot alongside branch and history navigation.
Campfire
CodeBot in Campfire covers the workspace-first CodeBot experience in RemObjects Campfire. Use these docs for chat, connected services, media generation, local setup, and the broader set of tools CodeBot can use while working in folder-based projects.
CodeBot CLI
CodeBot CLI covers command-line CodeBot workflows on Windows, Linux, and Mac. These docs are for terminal-based use, scripting, server-side development flows, and cases where you want CodeBot available without a full desktop application.
CodeBot Server
CodeBot Server documents the hosted backend service that powers CodeBot for Delphi, CodeBot CLI, and related integrations. It is the place for setup, administration, deployment, and service-level behavior.
